Mi Philippines unveils its newest mid-range smartphone under the RedMi Series, the XiaoMi RedMi 5 Plus. In China and Philippines this device is known as the RedMi 5 Plus but globally known as the RedMi Note 5.

The RedMi 5 Plus main features a large battery capacity at 4,000mAh, compare to the standard smartphone with only 3,000mAh, the RedMi 5 Plus is 20% bigger with 4,000mAh battery. Not just its battery size of this device they proud-off, its also has a great design having a fullscreen display at 18:9 ratio in the front and a aluminum metal unibody at the back.

The RedMi 5 Plus is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Chipset and Andreno 506 GPU, it also has 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage, a much better mid-range point at its price point.

On the Camera side, it has a 12MP f/2.2, 1.25 μm with Phase Detection Auto Focus and can record up to 2160p @ 30fps. On the selfie side, you can left behind with its 5MP Front Camera with Softlight Flash perfect for sefies even on low-light condition.

The Redmi 5 Plus is running on MUIU 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and might be have an software upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo OS soon. Other features of the RedMi 5 Plus is Fingerprint Sensor (Rear mounted), Bluetooth v4.0 and IR Remote features.

The XiaoMi RedMi 5 Plus will be available in Black, Gold, Blue color variant and will be in available at the retail price of P9,990.

The RedMi 5 Plus will be available in the Philippines starting March 17 at the launch of 2nd Mi Philippines store in SM Megamall Cyberzone.
