TECNO POVA 5 Pro Unboxing & Review.

TECNO once again release a new gaming smartphone in the POVA Series lineup. The brand slowly making a mark not just in the country but in the global market as they provide budget-friendly devices.

The POVA 5 Pro 5G is finally here to try and test the newest gaming smartphone from TECNO.

One the first glance, you can really tell that the POVA 5 Pro 5G is specially made for gamers. As you can see this device is design in triangular shape making it more standout from the traditional rectangular type boxes. On its packaging its boldly saying that this phone is a gaming phone. The packaging comes with Garena FREE FIRE design as well as the important details such as the 16GB RAM + 256GB ROM, 68W wall charger and Hi-Res audio.

Out of the box, the POVA 5 Pro comes the handset itself alongside with the screen protection, data cable, 68W Charger and earphones, we didn't see an earphone on some smartphone packaging for a quite a while. Good move for TECNO for including a free earphone to its consumers. Aside from the usual accessories included on the box, the POVA 5 Pro 5G FREE FIRE Edition comes with FREE FIRE sticker and Gift Code.

Design

Gone with the days, when gaming smartphone typically looks the same with the other phone. in terms of its design The POVA 5 Pro 5G back design with LED-illuminated Mecha design with glass finish that gives it more aesthetic appeal which is one of the characteristics gamers looking forward in terms of design.

The LED backlight is customizable depends on your preferences, it can light up when you receive notification, calls, charging and while entering the Game Space.

When it comes to display, A bigger screen is a must when playing game. It gives you bigger view and angle, but it should be not compromised every detail of the game. Good thing the POVA 5 Pro comes 6.78-inch IPS LCD display at FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. This is one of the factor gamers looking forward on a gaming phone.

POVA 5 Pro basic I/O are power button (fingerprint sensor) and volume rocker which is place on the right side of the phone while the SIM Tray port can locate at the upper left part. It also supports dual stereo speakers place in top and bottom.

The POVA 5 Pro is bulky at 9mm thickness and might be even more when it has protective case but i don't see it as a problem as long as it gives what the user's gaming experience needs.

Not just it's design, the POVA 5 Pro has the powerful internal components to maximize your gaming experience. It runs with MediaTek Dimensity 6080 (6nm) chipset paired with 8GB + 8GB extended RAM and a 256GB Internal Storage that will surely accommodate all of your games.

Camera

TECNO POVA 5 Pro might be a gaming phone but in terms of photography, this phone can also deliver what you need. This device is equipped with 50MP AI camera can captured great images. On the other hand, it can capture up to 2K resolution @30fps but we recommend using the 1080p 60fps video recording setting for better and smooth quality. You can also use effects while shooting video and you can enable bokeh effect features as well.
