NVIDIA COMPUTEX 2022 gaming and content news.

 

   At the recent NVIDIA COMPUTEX 2022 keynote they showcased how RTX momentum continues to build, with the cinematic look of ray tracing and performance-boosting AI defining the next generation of content.

 

  Currently there are now over 250 RTX games and applications available, doubling since last year’s COMPUTEX, and GeForce gamers continue to upgrade, with over 30% now on RTX hardware, logging over 1 and a half billion hours of playtime with RTX ON! 

 

Games are King at COMPUTEX


  NVIDIA DLSS continues to set the standard for super resolution with best in class performance and image quality, and is now integrated into more than 180 games and applications! At COMPUTEX, DLSS is in the games that gamers want to play, with 12 new games added to the ever growing library.

 

DLSS Doubles Frame Rates in HITMAN 3 


  The developers of the critically acclaimed HITMAN 3 announced they will be adding NVIDIA DLSS along with ray-traced opaque reflections and ray-traced shadows on May 24. With all options maxed out and ray tracing enabled, NVIDIA DLSS boosts HITMAN 3 frame rates by more than 2X at 4K. 

 

  GeForce gamers can also get the GeForce Game Ready Driver for HITMAN 3 on May 24 at 6am PT, through the GeForce Experience application. The driver also provides the best experience in My Time At Sandrock and Sniper Elite 5.

 

More Games Upgrade with DLSS, Reflex and Ray Tracing 


Other gaming news announced at COMPUTEX includes:

  • F1 22 will launch on July 1 with DLSS and ray-traced opaque reflections, ray-traced transparent reflections, ray-traced ambient occlusion, and ray-traced shadows.
  • Icarus will add NVIDIA Reflex support in June delivering lower latency and better responsiveness in game.
  • Deep Rock Galactic has been updated with DLSS and NVIDIA DLAA.  Enabling NVIDIA DLSS will give gamers up to 60% more performance.
  • Loopmancer will support DLSS and ray-traced reflections when it launches this summer. With DLSS enabled performance jumps by over 2X when maxed out at 4K with ray tracing enabled.
  • Warstride Challenges is available now with DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex. With both enabled, you’ll boost your performance by 2X at 4K, and lower system latency by up to 53%. 
  • LEAP will support DLSS when it comes to Early Access on June 1. DLSS delivers a performance upgrade of more than 2X in the game.
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is available now and gets a DLSS performance upgrade of more than 2X, so all GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs hit 60 FPS at 4K with settings maxed out.
  • Raji: An Ancient Epic launches May 24 and will support DLSS along with ray-traced reflections, ray-traced ambient occlusion, ray-traced shadows. NVIDIA DLSS boosts performance by up to 3X at 4K, and more than 2X at other resolutions, enabling you to experience Raji: An Ancient Epic in all its glory at over 60 FPS.
  • Turbo Sloths launches this Summer and will support DLSS along with ray-traced reflections, and ray-traced shadows, with DLSS boosting performance by more than 2X.
  • Propnight will upgrade to NVIDIA DLSS on May 24, boosting performance by up to 85% at 4K.
  • Hydroneer is available now with NVIDIA DLSS, and gets a performance boost of up to 50%, enabling every GeForce RTX gamer to play at 4K with max settings at over 60 FPS. 
  • My Time At Sandrock will launch on May 26 with NVIDIA Reflex with a 34% reduction in latency.
  • Ghost has a DLSS upgrade available now that will boost performance by up to 70%, enabling every GeForce RTX gamer to experience and enjoy Ghost at its absolute best.
  • Soda Crisis launches with NVIDIA Reflex tonight with a 23% latency improvement.

 

  NVIDIA is also driving the adoption of other advanced gaming technologies such as NVIDIA Reflex, which is now supported in 38 games, 22 displays, and 45 mice. With over 20M gamers playing with Reflex ON every month, Reflex has become one of NVIDIA’s most successful technologies.

 

New GeForce RTX Gaming and Creating Laptops 


  Laptop momentum continues at COMPUTEX 2022 as NVIDIA continues to see great growth in both gaming and Studio platforms. These laptops feature 4th generation Max-Q technologies which power the fastest, most efficient laptops. 

 

  Some of the newest GeForce RTX gaming laptops showcased at COMPUTEX include:

  • MSI Raider GE67 HX - offering GPUs up to GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
  • ASUS ROG Flow X16 - offering GPUs up to GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
  • Gigabyte Aorus 17X - offering GPUs up to GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

 

  Some of the newest GeForce RTX Studio laptops showcased at COMPUTEX include:

  • ASUS Zenbook and Vivobook lines - offering a wide-range of GeForce RTX Laptop GPUs
  • Acer ConceptD 5 and 5 Pro - offering Laptop GPUs up to GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and RTX A5500.
  • Lenovo Slim 7i Pro X and 7 Pro X - offering GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPUs.

 

  With these additions and more, GeForce RTX laptop models now total over 180.

 

New NVIDIA Reflex Products, Including World’s First G-SYNC 500Hz Display 


  At COMPUTEX 2022 NVIDIA continued to expand the NVIDIA Reflex ecosystem featuring a pair of new Reflex monitors and gaming mice with Reflex support. Of note, ASUS debuted the world’s first 500Hz G-SYNC display, the ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz gaming monitor

 

   This 500Hz display has been designed from the ground up for esports, using a brand new “Esports TN panel” for maximum motion clarity. It also boasts NVIDIA G-SYNC Esports Mode with adjustable esports vibrance, and of course complete NVIDIA Reflex Analyzer support, allowing users to measure end to end system latency when using a NVIDIA Reflex mouse and GeForce GPU.

 

 Acer also launched the Predator X28 G-SYNC display. Meanwhile, Cooler Master introduced the MM310 and MM730 gaming mice with Reflex.

 

New G-SYNC Compatible TVs with Support for GeForce NOW


  In 2021, Philips and NVIDIA worked together to deliver some of the first G-SYNC Compatible TVs with HDMI 2.1 support. COMPUTEX 2022 sees the addition of two new G-SYNC Compatible Philips OLED TVs, also with GeForce NOW capabilities. 

 

AI-Powered Creator Features Supported in May Studio Driver


  Beyond new built-for-creator laptops, NVIDIA Studio benefits are evidenced in AI-powered software acceleration in a number of key apps, notably Depth Map, Object Mask Tracking and Surface Tracking in Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 18.
