Muggsy Bogues & Monte Morris visit Vivo Concept Store and join NBA 3X Philippines. | Gizmo Manila

  Vivo, in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), welcomes NBA Legend Muggsy Bogues and Denver Nuggets’ Monté Morris, who visited the Vivo concept store at the SM Megamall Cyberzone in Mandaluyong City last Aug. 2 to meet with their Filipino basketball fans as part of the NBA 3X Philippines activities.

  Vivo also joins the NBA 3X Philippines 2019 presented by AXA, an elite 3-on-3 basketball tournament based on FIBA 3x3 format and rules combined with authentic NBA entertainment, will feature 260 men’s and women’s teams vying for top honors in the ninth consecutive edition of the tournament.

  In the 2018-19 season, Morris averaged 10.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. Drafted in 2017, the Michigan native started 35 games for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League.

  At 5’3”, Bogues is the shortest player ever in the NBA with a 14-year career that includes stops with the Washington Bulles, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors. Selected 12th overall by the Washington Bullets in the 1987 NBA Draft, Bogues led the Charlotte Hornets franchise in assists (5,557) and steals (1,067).
