ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) formally announced the ROG Masters 2017, a esports tournament that will feature over 20 top professional eSports teams from across the 7 continents and offer a prize pool of US $500,000. The DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament has grown significantly in scale and ambition, and with this almost unprecedented reach, ROG Masters 2017 is set to raise the intensity of the competition and take the DOTA 2 and CS:GO scene by storm.
Last year, TNC won the Philippines qualifier for the DOTA 2 while on CS:GO Mineski ProGaming Team (CS:GO) won. They represent the Philippines together with Mineski ProGaming Team (DOTA 2) and Imperium in the recent Asus ROG Master 2017 Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The Team Secret named as the Champion and take home $71,250.
Commencing in June 2017, teams from every corner of the globe will battle it out in a series of 30 country qualifiers and four regional qualifiers (EMEA, Americas, APAC, and China). The winners of these open qualifiers will then take on the might of invited professional teams from each of the four regions, fighting for a place in the Grand Finals in November, 2017.

The top 4 teams will who qualify for DOTA 2 and CS:GO will advance to the Semi-finals on August 12, 2017 and the Finals will be on August 13,2017.
