Bandai Namco, developer and publisher of the blockbuster video game franchise Tekken has partnered with renowned global eSports brand TEAM SPOOKY to bring RAGE ART, the Philippines largest Tekken 7 launch event. The event will be taking place at Playbook Circuit Makati on June 3, 2017 and has a 25,000 php prize pool thanks to XSplit, Player.me and Challonge.
Philippines is one of the most underrated regions for Tekken, despite players such as young Alexandre “AK” Laverez reaching Top 8 in international eSports tournaments such as King of Iron Fist 2013 and King of Iron Fist 2016. With RAGE ART, TEAM SPOOKY aims to shine a light on a local fighting game community that is mostly unknown to the rest of the world.
Event Details
- The first 50 players who arrive on site and pay their house fee will receive an event shirt!
- All players and spectators who pay their house fee are eligible to win other prizes at the event.
- Raffle will take place at approx 6:30 PM. (You must be in attendance during the raffle to win a prize!)
*HOUSE FEE: 250 PHP (Goes to Playbook for hosting the event.)
*TOURNAMENT FEE: FREE! Just pay to play at Playbook and you can enter.
