OPPO introduced the
5x Dual Camera Zoom technology at the largest smartphone gathering, the Mobile
World Congress 2017 held in Barcelona, Spain.
The new upcoming
OPPO smartphones will be having a new camera technology, the OPPO 5x Dual
Camera Zoom. This groundbreaking
technology is equipped with periscope style lens array that runs horizontally
along the top of device, it’s the first ever lossless 5x dual camera that
captures images similar quality from Digital Cameras.

The all new Optical
Image Stabilization (OIS) solution can improve performance of previous
generations by 40%, The prism mechanism adjusts its angle in astonishingly
precise increments of only 0.0025˚, ensuring the image will remain clear
and stable even at full 5x zoom.
This module is only
5.7mm thick, which is 10% thinner than the typical 2x optical zoom lens
allowing smartphone to have a powerful camera without requiring a large camera
bump.
OPPO didn’t announce other information like focal lengths
and what particular smartphone will carry this technology.
