Hardcore and gaming enthusiast, alike flocked to the Cyberzone area of SM North Edsa, Quezon City for Legion by Lenovo, a 2-day gaming convention that allowed avid gamer's to play League of Legends (LoL), one of the most popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena games by Garena in SEA Region.
The event, which rolled out over the last Jan. 28-29, served as a take-off point for introducing Lenovo’s newest sub-brand of gaming PCs called Lenovo Legion with its variety of laptops such as the Lenovo Legion Y520 the Ideapad Y910; and desktops like the IdeaCentre Y710 Cube. The new gaming sub-brand offers gamers powerful gaming devices and community engagement. It’s a user experience designed around what they’re passionate about – the most immersive gaming experiences.
The gaming convention served as battleground for 12 teams from participating schools such as the De La Salle University, DLSU-College of Saint Benilde, Adamson University, National University, AMA University – Quezon City Campus, University of the Philippines-Diliman, and the Far Eastern University, among many others.
Gamers registered onsite to play, and got to face-off against celebrities such as Kristoffer Martin, Jack Reid, Ashley Gosiengfiao, Alex Diaz, and Jerome Ponce. Radio DJs, Nikko Ramos and Joyce Pring hosted Legion by Lenovo.
The Lenovo Legion Y520 is an entry-level gaming laptop that runs on the latest 7 th generation Kaby Lake processors from Intel, and thanks to its budget powerhouse NVIDIA GTX 1050/1050Ti graphics card, games can be displayed in crisp FULL HD or 2K quality.
